Upon her fragile finger bare
the ring of love did I place there.
It’s radiance of pure delight
did chase the shadows from the night.
the lovely fire reflecting grace.
A band of gold, a flash of silver
within the mantle’s frame did quiver.
The ring adorned her regal hand.
My eyes beheld her face so grand.
A whisper through eternity
did bring my love at last to me.
For whispers song so sweet did call
a messenger for The Greatest of All.
In loves pure innocence arrived
a desire impossible to contrive.
Oh sing sweet melody our lover’s song.
For within your arms do I belong.
At last deliver before my eyes
your Self, my love without compromise.
Imagine not a moment alone
for within our destiny have we grown.
Together, united, a place in the sun
are worlds of brilliance conceived by The One.
Powerful letters delivered to thee
upon Love’s kind ethers do you receive me.
A vow never broken, a piece of a poem
in union, communion in our holy home.
You recognize this soul song of our love
with openness receive great gifts from above.
Desire without vision of how this will be,
made manifest under the stars we will see.
The ring it encloses a message of hope
carried down through the ages like a life-giving rope.
The peace of a pearl, the power of gold,
under no circumstances shall the ruby be sold.
Place it upon your finger divine
and allow all the love within you to shine.
Deliver this ring crowned upon your sweet hand
so we may travel the oceans and cross over the land.
January 1998
After my daughter found a ruby and gold ring at the beach, she gave it to me and I wore it often. This came through me spontaneously and rapidly…as fast as I could write and is unedited. Perhaps a message from beyond time and space held within the ring.
